Welcome to Path to Awakening

Here, we embark on a journey into the heart of mindfulness as taught by the Buddha in the Pali Canon.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and accessible exploration of the ancient teachings
that guide us toward liberation and inner peace.

we delve into the suttas with clarity and reverence, ensuring that you receive the teachings just as they are, preserving their profound simplicity and transformative power.
Our primary focus is on the core suttas related to mindfulness, including the renowned Maha Satipatthana Sutta—the Great Discourse on the Establishing of Mindfulness.
Through in-depth explanations and practical insights, we aim to make these ancient methods of liberation clear and relevant for contemporary practitioners.

MAHA-SATIPATTHANA SUTTA

The Maha-satipatthana Sutta, often referred to as the "Great Discourse on the Establishing of Mindfulness," is one of the most important teachings in the Pali Canon.
This sutta presents a comprehensive guide to the practice of mindfulness, outlining four foundations upon which mindfulness should be established:
the body (kaya), feelings (vedana), mind (citta), and mental phenomena (dhamma).

This foundational text provides detailed instructions on various meditation practices, such as mindfulness of breathing, the contemplation of postures,
and the observation of mental states. It serves as a roadmap for those seeking to deepen their practice of mindfulness
and develop a profound understanding of the path to awakening.
