At our meditation centre you will learn many different kinds of meditation taught by the Buddha. All of them help to train our mind in good habits and bring a level of peace and calm to our lives. Eventually these meditations, if practiced correctly, can lead us to the ultimate freedom of Nirvana.
Our Introduction to Buddhist Meditation class is suitable for anyone. We start with basics each week and make sure people have the understanding they need to benefit from their time with us. You will learn easy meditation techniques that you can practice on your own.
Most of our other meditation programs are suitable for anyone with even the most basic understanding of meditation from any tradition. Because we aim to help people at all levels, there will usually be guided meditations at our programs. This way everyone can participate.
We have lots of cushions and chairs. We want you to sit in any way that is comfortable for you. If you have a favorite cushion or chair, please feel free to bring it. All of our programs are family friendly, but we do have a special programs for young people. Parents can decide how their children can best participate.
